Join us at SET Social from 5pm on Sunday 12 February to launch the Ambit Magick issue, which celebrates winners of the Annual Ambit Competition for Poems, Stories, Art.
5:30 pm – A conversation with Luke Lewin Davies, author of the Tramp in British Literature, 1850―1950 (Palgrave Macmillan) and Ambit Editor, Kirsty Allison.
6:00 pm – Paul Birtill, Poems
6:15 pm – Awards ceremony with readings

Ambit was established in 1959 by Dr Martin Bax in London. Past editors include JG Ballard, Eduardo Paolozzi, Briony Bax. Recent guest editors include Savage Pencil, & Lias Saoudi from the Fat White Family. Michael Foreman was art director for 50 years. Designers include Derek Birdsall, Alan Kitching and the John Morgan Studio. The magazine is now designed by Stephen Barrett.
