The noise emanating from Georgie was recently described by Boomkat as something that “will either push foolhardy types to the precipice of sanity or focus their nerves for the incoming march of robots shooting death rays from googly eyes.”. Georgie’s sounds both soothe and crush.

BIANCA SCOUT

Bianca Scout is a trained dancer, choreographer, self taught musician , writer, and performer. Scout has been interwoven with SET for many years, which has taken form in numerous live performances, a movement and dance workshop, as well as contributing to our compilation SET-away-from-home. Scout, establishes a richly seductive sensory field, where fractal patterns of poetry, moving image and sound design are sampled, remixed and looped, through subtle, episodic mutations of classical dance. We always look forward to the journey Scout has in store for us.

ADAM CRISTENSEN

Christensen has performed with us & danced with us since the days of DIG, pre SET. Christensen is a multidisciplinary artist who’s crisp & haunting sounds make time stand still.

It’s in the name. Ivadinuf is one of our SUBSET residents. Injections of slick, bouncy, 303 infused techno, breaks and electro.

BRXN

Starting with the pure pleasure of mixing her favourite tracks, Brenda’s entrance onto the scene has been an organic one.

Encouragement from those left impressed by her appearances at after-hour socials has been the push to public performance. With an ear for groove, electro, broken beat, and off-kilter sonics there’s something for everyone, but it’s clear this really is a labour of love for Brenda.

KATIUSHA

If there’s a defining feature of Katiusha’s sound, it’s this: she puts a warm, personal and poetic twist on the wild spirit of rave. She is a defining feature in a lot of our musical journeys. From our 24 hour long mixing sessions to the multitude of club nights and raves, until her venture to make her mark in Berlin. If you’ve been fortunate enough to catch her at gigs she’s played in Berlin or UK, you know what impact she’s going to make in our little vault in Woolwich.

XAVIER

Another gem who cut his teeth in our dwellings. From day one we all acknowledged how dedicated Xavier is to the sound. Seeing him grow as an artist has been nothing but inspiring. His technical ability is flawless and his infectious energy accompanied by his powerful selection leaves no boxes unchecked.

Nexcyia is an African-American/French sound artist and experimental ambient musician based in London and Paris. His sound practice is lofi woven with harsh sound design, swooping soundscapes and uses found sound to draw inspiration into his practice.

Pentu

Pentu is an experimental electronic producer and guitarist based in London who has had releases through Merci Jitter, daddypower records and most recently launched his new album, Second Nature, through Surf.

Eye Measure

Eye Measure is a UK-based experimental artist and curator working primarily with algorithmic composition and creative coding. They have performed and exhibited work in places such as Cafe OTO (London), No Bounds Festival (Sheffield) and Fylkingen (Stockholm). They are an active part of the TOPLAP/live coding community.

Esmé

Esmé has spent the last few years nurturing a queer club scene in rural West Yorkshire, co-founding grassroots events such as Iconoclast and Valley Fever in Todmorden. She plays in clubs across the UK, but can be found most often in Manchester; regularly playing at the likes of The White Hotel and Eastern Bloc. Expect high energy acid, electro, breaks and techno from this self confessed vinyl addict.

Raymond V

Raymond V is an Italian DJ based in London. Since an a young age she has been influenced by early German techno; her sounds are obscure and visceral, a perfect combination of dark ambient, hypnotic & industrial techno. Let her take you on a journey into the darkest part of yourself, while she discovers hers.

Conrad Pack

Conrad Pack is a London based producer and DJ. He runs the label SELN Recordings alongside DJ Gonz and can be found DJing regularly at Ormside Projects and Venue MOT.
